MAC travelled to Miskolc to take on defending champions DVTK, Head Coach Gergely Majoross had a full lineup with Bence Bálizs starting in net. MAC took an early lead as team captain Csaba Kovács set up Balázs Somogyi for the goal. Diógyőr would tie the game up before the period was over. The second twenty minutes was much like the first as MAC took back the lead and DVTK pulled even again. In the 32nd minute of the game Tamás Pozsgai scored the go ahead goal on the power play, however in the final minute of the second period DVTK tied the game up at 2-2. After scoreless third period and overtime session, the game was decided in a shootout with Gergő Nagy scoring the winning score as MAC moved to the top of the league table. Bence Bálizs ended up stopping 34 out of the 36 shots faced.
