After taking the first two games of the semi finals against Fehérvár, MAC hosted game three and then traveled south to Fejér County for game four. Both matches ended up being nail bitters.
Game 3: MAC-Fehérvár 2-3 SO
MAC had bence Bálizs in net however they were without Sean Escobedo. Fehérvár scored first to open a 1-0 lead however MAC tied the game up on a power play goal by Tamás Pozsgai, whose shot from the point went wide, off the backboards, ricocheted off the Fehérvár goalie and into the back of the net. After a scoreless second period MAC took their first lead of the game when Krisztián Nagy scored from close range off of a pass from Gergő Nagy. In the closing minutes of the game Fehérvár pulled their goal for the extra attacker and the move paid off as they tied it up and set the game into overtime. After a scoreless extra period the game was decided in a shootout. Fehérvár scored only on their first shot, unfortunately the Fehérvár goalie stopped all of the MAC shots, as they picked up the win.
Game 4: Fehérvár-MAC 3-4 OT
For game four, nothing changed in the MAC lineup, Sean Escobedo was still out with a shoulder injury and Bence Bálizs started in net. Fehérvár brought down three forwards and a goalie from their EBEL squad for the game. Csaba Kovács put MAC up 1-0 off of a backdoor pass from Roland Vokla. After Fehérvár tied the game up MAC took a one goal lead into the second period when Jon Booras scored from high in the slot. MAC opened up a two goal lead when Vladimir Nikiforov set up Bronson Kovács with a drop pass for the power play goal. However Fehérvár scored twice before the period was out to make it 3-3. After a scoreless third period the game went into overtime, this was the third game in a row that was not decided in regulation. At the 67 minute mark of the game Drew Olson scooped in a rebound from a Gergő Nagy shot as MAC picked up the OT win.
