After picking up three points against Beograd the night before with a 7-1 win Gergely Majross and his team knew that Sunday night would be a different story. Bence Bálizs got the start in net after being the back up the night before. This turned out to be a real battle between the two net minders, Bálizs and Dávid Duschek from Dunaújváros. The two goalies had won a MOl League title together two seasons ago in Miskolc, the two former teammates were going toe to toe as the first goal was not scored until the third period. In early part of the final period István Terbócs, who was playing his first game after a three game suspension, managed to put a shot past Duschek. With just over ten minutes to go in the game and team captain Csaba Kovács sitting in the penalty box for charging Gergő nagy set up Terbócs for a short handed goal which was his second of the game. Bálizs went the distance to pick up his first shutout of the season.
István Terbócs: Just like last season it took me until the eighth game to score my first goal, last season I missed three out of the first eight games because of injury, this time it was because of a suspension. I felt that I would have a big game since I had three games worth of energy built up in me. It was frustrating watching the games and not being able to play, I think this really got me going today.
