MAC travelled south to taken on Dunaújváros, in a game where they were without Balázs Somogyi and Gergely Arany, however Jon Booras made his debut.
Things started out great as MAC had a 2-1 lead after the first period when both Csaba Kovács and István Mestyán found the back of the net. The second period did not go well at all has the home team DAB scored four unanswered goals, the bombardment continued into the third period as it was 6-2 before MAC had an answer. Sean Escobado scored a power play goal off of a pass from Jeff Jubinville to make it 6-3, team captain Csaba Kovács scored his second of the game to get MAC within two. With just over five minute left Brons Kovács scored to make it a one goal game. Head coach Gergely Majoross pulled goalie Bence Bálizs for the extra attacker however they were not able to complete the comeback.
Bronson Kovács, defenceman: We definitely had a lapse in the second period today. We started off good in the first and battled right to the end of the game but we can't have that many highs and lows in a game and expect to win.
