After beating previously undefeated Ferencváros and a very strong Brasov team MAC Budapest is tied for first place with Ferencváros on 15 points. Fradi has a better goal differential and are first with MAC in second place.
MAC-FTC 6-1
The game started off well as Jared Brown gave MAC the 1-0 lead in the opening minutes of the game. However after an error by Bence Bálizs Ferencváros tied the game up at 1-1. Early in the second period István Terbócs put MAC back on top, with Balázs Somogyi scoring minutes later to give MAC a two goal lead. Later in the period Richárd Tóth stuffed the puck home as he scored his first goal of the season to make it 4-1. The third period belonged to team captain Tamás Pozsgai who scored both goals has he set the final score at 6-1.
MAC-Brasov 4-3
With an injury to Bence Bálizs, Gergely Arany started between the pipes and Kristóf Nagy dressed as the backup. Brasov jumped out to a 1-0 lead on the first shift of the game. Minutes later the visitors had a two goal lead. Head Coach Gergely Majoross called a timeout to get his team settled, however Brasov took a 3-0 lead into the first intermission. MAC got on the scoreboard after a nice tic-tac-toe play that ended with Richárd Tóth scoring the goal. Krisztián Nagy scored to make it 3-2 and MAC tied the game up on a power play goal by Bronson Kovács from just outside the crease. The game winning goal came off of the stick of Erik Keresztury as MAC took the game 4-3.
